In the Jungle Steam Install Guide

Check Steam's DLC panel before checking your save

Open DAVE THE DIVER in your Steam Library, choose Properties → DLC, and confirm In the Jungle is checked. Let Steam finish the download, restart the game, then load a completed story save and return to Cobra's boat.

If the game will not launch or the content is missing, verify installed files and remove unsupported launch options or mods before testing again.

Verify the Steam installation

Check the DLC checkbox

In Library → DAVE THE DIVER → Properties → DLC, make sure the In the Jungle entry is enabled.

Finish pending downloads

Open Steam Downloads and wait until both the base-game update and DLC package finish.

Verify installed files

Use Installed Files → Verify integrity if the content pack is checked but the game does not recognize it.

Start the content in-game

Load the save that cleared the main story ending. Return to the boat with Cobra for Dr. Bacon's introduction, visit Bancho Sushi, and call Dr. Bacon when ready. Players without an ending save can use New Game → Skip to Jungle.

  • Remove custom launch options temporarily.
