How to Upgrade the Jungle Gun

Visit Muna, choose one of the four mode branches, supply its materials, and retrieve an upgrade when you need to reallocate resources.

Use Muna's upgrade menu and specialize one mode first

The Jungle Gun switches between rifle, shotgun, net, and sniper modes. Speak with Muna when her upgrade service is available, select the mode branch, and provide the listed ore, ingots, fish, or monster materials.

If you invested in the wrong branch, use Retrieve in the upgrade interface to refund the eligible materials, then move them into the mode needed for your current quest.

Unlock Muna's service

Continue Utara story and relationship progress until the weapon upgrade menu becomes available.

Choose one role

Pick general damage, boss range, live capture, or close burst before spending scarce materials.

Pin the material list

Separate raw ore from processed ingots and identify any boss or fish component.

Complete the upgrade

Return to Muna with the exact materials and test the new tier on a normal dive.

Farm materials and recover mistakes

  • Mine Silver and Gold Ore along Setah Forest and lower-lake routes.
  • Upgrade the pickaxe before farming high-tier Gold Ore.
  • Preserve boss and rare-fish drops until checking every recipe that uses them.
  • Use Retrieve when a completed objective makes one branch less valuable.
  • Refund before farming duplicate rare materials for a second path.
