Black Caiman takes much better damage on the underside from the middle of its neck through the upper belly. Open with sniper mode while it is unaware, then move below it as it leaves the cave.
When it chases, retreat a short distance beyond the den, dodge the tail sweep, and wait for the question-mark disengage. Move back under the returning caiman for another weak-point volley.
Wait until the belly angle is visible and place the first sniper shot on the underside.
Swim out of the den while avoiding the circular turn and tail.
After it disengages, get under and slightly ahead of it as it swims home.
Use rifle or shotgun mode only while the underside is safely exposed.
Reset outside the cave whenever the angle disappears.
